Abdel Moneim Mokhtar was an Egyptian diver. He competed in the men's 10 metre platform event at the 1928 Summer Olympics. Primarily a gymnast, he switched to diving at the Games upon being told that he needed to be part of a team to compete in the gymnastics tournament. He later had a radio show in Cairo and was the head of several national sporting bodies.
