text: (523764) 2014 WC510 is a binary trans-Neptunian object and plutino discovered on 8 September 2011 by the Pan-STARRS survey at the Haleakalā Observatory in Hawaii. It orbits in the Kuiper belt, a region of icy objects orbiting beyond Neptune in the outer Solar System. Astronomers discovered the binary nature of 2014 WC510 when its two components occulted a star on 1 December 2018.
