The 20th Engineer Battalion is a combat engineer battalion of the United States Army, headquartered at Fort Hood, Texas. It is assigned to the 36th Engineer Brigade and III Armored Corps. The battalion continues the lineage of the 20th Engineer Regiment. The 20th Engineer Regiment was formed in 1917 as the United States prepared to enter World War I.
