In the 2018–19 season, the Algerian football club JS Saoura competed in Ligue 1 for the seventh season in a row. The club won 13 out of 30 league games and finished 4th out of 16 teams, resulting in qualification for the 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup. The club also took part in the Algerian Cup, but were knocked out by IB Lakhdaria in their first match, and the CAF Champions League, where they reached the group stage.
