The 2000 Daytona 250 was a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida on February 18, 2000. The inaugural running of the event, Joe Ruttman won the pole, while Mike Wallace won the race, the third win of his Truck Series career. A quarter of this race was held under the caution flag, partially due to Geoff Bodine's violent crash near the start/finish line on lap 57.
