The 1960 United States presidential election in Virginia took place on November 8, 1960. Voters chose 12 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president. The Republican ticket of then-Vice President Richard Nixon of California and running mate Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. comfortably carried Virginia over the Democratic ticket of U.S. Senator John F.
